This is a fixture for narrow wall. Mount a pair flanking a bed in place of nightstand lamps, where the height puts light at reading level and frees the surface below. Use one beside a mirror, in an entry, or on the narrow return of wall between two openings. In a hallway or stairwell, a run of two or three carries the eye along.
