1. General Return Period

You may request a return or exchange within 30 days of delivery, provided the product is unused, in its original packaging, and accompanied by valid proof of purchase.

2. Eligible Returns & Exchanges

We will accept and cover the return shipping cost (or offer a free replacement) if:

  • The product arrived damaged,defective during transit.

  • The product contains a verified manufacturing defect.

  • The shipment was lost or undelivered within 90 days of the order date.

Each claim must include photo or video evidence so our quality team can verify and approve the replacement or refund.

3. Returns Due to Customer Preference

If you wish to return an item because it does not meet your personal preference — such as color tone, brightness, size, or style — the return is accepted within 30 days; however, you will be responsible for return shipping and handling costs.

4. Product Representation and Design Variation

Our lighting pieces are handcrafted or custom-finished, so minor variations in color, texture, or materials are natural and part of the design character. These differences do not qualify as “not as described” or product defects.
We strive to provide accurate descriptions and high-resolution images, but variations due to screen settings or handmade craftsmanship are expected.

5. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Custom-made or bespoke lighting fixtures

  • Made-to-order items in production

  • Products over USD 5,000

  • Light bulbs, consumables, or items not in original condition or packaging

6. Order Cancellation

Orders can be canceled within 24 hours of purchase. Once the item has entered production or shipping, cancellation may not be possible. Please contact our support team immediately if you need to cancel.

7. How to Request a Return
  1. Review this policy to confirm eligibility.

  2. Email info@malanelighting.com with your order number, issue details, and photos if applicable.

  3. Once approved, we’ll provide the return address and instructions.

  4. Ship the item as directed (customers cover return shipping unless the product is defective or damaged).

  5. Refunds are issued within 3–5 business days after inspection and approval.

8. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days after we receive and inspect the return. Your bank may require additional time to finalize the transaction.

9. U.S. Customer Rights

For customers in the United States, your purchase is protected under consumer laws ensuring goods are of acceptable quality and match their core description. Malane Lighting proudly complies with these standards and is committed to resolving any verified issues fairly.
