Perla: a single line, bent to hold a sphere. The arm descends as a slim tube, curves through a deep U at the base, and rises again — and where the curve bottoms out, a white opal glass globe rests in the cradle. Nothing clamps it, nothing brackets it. The form does the holding.
Hung in a row, the arms read as a continuous zigzag across the ceiling — a drawn line with three points of light in it. This is why the three-head version exists: over a long table, the repetition is the design.
Why it works
-
Opal glass, not clear. The white glass diffuses the bulb completely, so the globe glows evenly with no visible filament and no glare at eye level across a table.
-
The curve is the fixture. No shade, no canopy detail, no visible hardware at the globe. Just a tube, a bend, and a sphere.
-
Two finishes. Gold for warmth against dark walls and wood ceilings; Black for a graphic line against white plaster.
-
Three configurations. A compact single globe, a large single globe, or a 72.8-inch three-head linear run for a full dining table or island.
Sizes and configurations
-
Single globe — Ø 13.3" x H 8.4" (Dia 34 x H 21 cm). Compact. Bedside, entry, or a pair over a small island.
-
Single globe — Ø 21.6" x H 13.7" (Dia 55 x H 35 cm). The full-scale single. Over a round table or a kitchen peninsula.
-
3 heads — L 72.8" x H 13.7" (L 185 x H 35 cm). Three globes on a continuous curved run, just over six feet long. For a dining table or a long island.

Choosing a size
Over a dining table, the three-head at 72.8 inches suits tables of 78 inches or longer — allow roughly six inches of table beyond each end of the fixture. For a round table or a four-seat square, the 21.6-inch single centred is the right call. The 13.3-inch single is a supporting fixture: hang two or three in a row over an island, spaced 24 to 30 inches apart, or one beside a bed. Hang the bottom of the globe 30 to 34 inches above a tabletop.
Frequently asked questions
What sizes and prices does the Perla pendant come in?
Three. The compact single globe at Ø 13.3" x H 8.4" is $272, the large single globe at Ø 21.6" x H 13.7" is $298, and the three-head linear version at L 72.8" x H 13.7" is $934. Each is available in Gold or Black at the same price.
What finishes is the Perla available in?
The metal arm comes in Gold and in Black. The glass globe is white opal on both finishes.
What bulb does it take, and how many?
A standard E26 (North America) or E27 (Europe) screw-base bulb, not included. The single-globe versions take one bulb; the three-head version takes three. Because the glass is opal white rather than clear, an ordinary frosted LED works perfectly — the filament is never visible. Choose 2700K warm white.
Is the glass clear or frosted?
White opal glass, which is fully diffusing. The bulb inside is not visible and the globe lights evenly across its whole surface, so there is no glare when you are seated beneath it.
What does IP20 mean?
IP20 means the fixture is protected against contact with objects larger than 12 mm but has no protection against water. It is an indoor-only rating — suitable for dining rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and hallways, but not for bathrooms with shower exposure or any outdoor location.
Is it dimmable?
The fixture runs on a common wall switch and has no built-in dimming, so it depends on the bulb. A dimmable LED or Edison bulb on a compatible wall dimmer will dim.
How long is the cord?
150 cm / 59 inches, which suits standard 8 to 10 foot ceilings and can be shortened at installation. Longer cord is available on request for vaulted or double-height ceilings — contact us before ordering.
How long a table does the three-head version suit?
The fixture is 72.8 inches long, so it works best over tables of about 78 inches or more, leaving roughly six inches of table clear at each end. Over a shorter table it will visually overhang the ends.
Will it work outside the United States?
Yes. It accepts AC 110-240 V and carries certification compatible with North America, Europe, Saudi Arabia, and Australia. Use an E26 bulb on 110-120 V supply and an E27 bulb on 220-240 V.
