Three slender brass rods, holding almost nothing. They descend nearly six feet, joined at two points by small brass collars, and at the very bottom they open around opal glass petals — cupped, facing outward — before closing again into a short column of brass beads that finishes the line.
Almost all of this fixture is empty space. The rods are thin, the glass is small, and the drop is long, so what you install is a vertical gesture rather than an object filling a room. Hanging it
At 70.9 inches of total height this fixture is built for volume: a stairwell where it is seen from two levels, a double-height entry, a vaulted living room, or above a dining table in a room with generous ceilings. The suspension is supplied as four rod sections that combine to shorter drops, so it can be adapted to a lower ceiling — but on a standard eight-foot ceiling you will be using only part of the assembly, and the fixture loses the proportion it was designed around. Measure your ceiling height before ordering and tell us the drop you want; we will confirm the rod combination.

How bright is 8 W?
This is an accent and atmosphere fixture, not a primary light source. At 8 W it gives a soft, focused glow around the opal glass rather than lighting a whole room. In a stairwell or entry it works beautifully on its own; over a dining table, plan on additional lighting alongside it.
Does it swing or rotate?
No. The rigid brass rod assembly holds it plumb and still. That stability is why a rod suspension is used at this length instead of a cord — but it also means the position is fixed once installed.
Will it suit a standard eight-foot ceiling?

How do I clean it?
Dust the rods and beads with a soft dry cloth and wipe the opal glass with a barely damp cloth. Do not use metal polish or abrasive cleaners on the finish — both antique brass and champagne gold are applied finishes and polishing will cut through them.
